
It might come as a surprise, but eBay, Google and Yahoo have all failed dismally in China. All of them have taken their websites out of China and moved onto other countries instead. The reason for this is often misconstrued as “China is too different”. The article on LinkedIn says that this is NOT the reason for these large US based website company’s failure, it is simply because they are not patient enough to continue making no profit while the Chinese market absorbs their product. The article is interesting and insightful.
