Get Your Day Started with the Right Pair of Shoes

by Leave a Comment

There are hundreds of beautiful shoes out there and new ones are being made every minute. It is exciting to think about shopping for shoes and trying on the options available to you but easy to forget that functionality is key when it comes to shoes. Take a minute to imagine how it would feel wearing a pair of heels when running after toddlers or carrying a bunch of groceries. You may want to complement your streetwear fashion, go for an errand, hurry to work in the morning, babysit, and perform some chores- therefore, it is important to have shoes that are functional for your everyday activities. So, before you go on your next shopping spree in AU Nike stores, here are some things to consider.

Fit for the purpose

Have you bought a pair of shoes only for them to be worn out after a few wears? Believe me, it happens more than you think and not for the reason that’s on your mind. More than half of the time, these shoes don’t fail because their design was bad, poor quality of materials, or have a $1000 price tag on them. They become unusable after a few wears because they were not fit for the purpose for which they were worn. Some light running sneakers may be good for a jog, walking, or workout at the gym but they won’t serve you well for hiking due to the terrain. If you wear such shoes, don’t be surprised when you can’t use them for your next hiking trip.

Finding a Solution

Is there a way around this? I’m guessing you already know the answer to this. The solution to this problem is to have shoes that fit that occasion. Entering Nike stores in Australia will show you that each pair of shoes has a certain level of functionality and purpose that it’s meant to serve.  It may seem like a waste of money and space to have different types of shoes instead of a pair for every occasion but it is worth it. It saves money by preventing early wear and tear, and safeguards against injury.

Buy shoes whose design, construction, and materials fit the activity you intend to do. To make the idea of buying more shoes exciting, try investing in a few brands that catch your fancy.

What is the right pair?

As earlier stated, the perfect pair of shoes for you depends on what you are doing. Lighter shoes are great for jogging, running, and going for errands. If you love riding horses, get a pair of riding shoes instead of wearing regular sneakers. For hiking, pay attention to the terrain get some shoes that can keep up with the rugged nature of the environment and for the rainy days, get some waterproof shoes to prevent the rain from damaging others.

Your Checklist

Your shoes should have a good sole and general structure to support and protect your feet from injury. It should also be made with materials that are not only durable but ensure flexibility and stability. There should be enough cushioning in the shoes to provide additional support and comfort. When you feel at loss, go online and check the reviews on the shoes before making the final decision.
