Saving More While Living In The UK

by Leave a Comment

Living in the UK isn’t as budget friendly as one might think it is. Half the time people tend to spend more than what they earn, and in reality this isn’t a good habit to uphold. Because with no savings to hop back to when you’re out of a job, or when in dire need of money is basically like putting up a sign saying I’m broke. But, it’s not like this is a place where saving money is completely impossible in fact it’s the complete opposite.

The reason why people aren’t able to save on their expenses is because they don’t know how to do it most of the times, and end up spending their good hard earned money on things that they could have gotten at a great deal. Well, this one’s for all the people that are spending their money here, and their without coping with the fact that they can get something at a better value of price, here are a few tips to follow that can help one save big time when scouring around for the essential things in their life.

THE SEASON END SALES ARE YOUR FRIEND

Disagree to this fact as much as you like but people are somewhat brand conscious, and are always in a hurry to get the best designer clothing, cellphones, and other essentials as soon as they tend to get released. Making big purchases instantly not knowing that these things that cost about £300 at the moment can be within their grasp in an amount like £90 after the season ends.

So, keep this in mind because this is the first tip to start your saving journey. Don’t be in a rush to shop because your favorite brand has released something new, and trending. Instead wait it out for the season end sale, it’s your friend, and your friend will help you get the product you like at half the price when the time is right.

HUNT FOR VOUCHERS

Discount Codes, amazing offers, great deals, coupons, there are a several thing around one that can help them save almost instantly. Though the season end sale is a great option to save big on your shopping sprees they come around once after every two or three months while the vouchers, and coupons are always ready to be availed by you.

Almost all of your favorite brands tend to offer certain offers, and deals that help you save big. Take this for an example we recently did a little shopping ourselves, and got some amazing essentials from Debenhams, and some even more stunning outfits from Boden at almost wholesale price, and all we used was Debenhams Discount Codes, and Boden Voucher Codes from a site called TopVouchersCode. The plus side these two weren’t even the only brands on the site they had codes, and offers for brands like Samsung, Walmart, Tesco, and a bunch of other renowned brands. So, simply imagine how much you can save from sites like this. Don’t believe us the links are attached to their pages below.

CYCLE BETWEEN PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND COMMUTING

Ask anyone that has spent their days in London about the costs of commuting, all of them will give you a single answer with a sigh that it’s extremely expensive. Even though there are tubes running all across London due to them being packed people prefer to take the cab, or their own vehicles to places they want to go. But doing so drains a ton of money out their pockets money; that could have been used in other places like shopping or going on a vacation. Now, even though there are ways to save money by traveling through public transport it’s an eerie feeling on warm days. So, the best bet we have in telling you how to save during this problem is by cycling between your travels or why not ask to commute with your friend, or you significant other.

Take the public transport for one week, and commute the next this cycle might not help you get the money saved enough to take a vacation. But, it’ll be enough for you to have some extra change in times of need.

LET THE OLD ONES GO

Hoarding isn’t a good thing to do, and we know that most of you probably still have those last season’s trending apparels, or an unwanted furniture, or a laptop, or even a cellphone laying around the house here, and there.  Well, if you want to save then it’s probably the right time to let those things go by selling them on Ebay. A site that will help you get some extra cash for spending by simply putting out an ad for the things that you don’t use anymore. So, with this last tip the saving hacks come to an end, we hope that these ideas help you on your saving endeavors as you try to live out the rest of your days in the UK.
