Holidays worth saving for!

by Leave a Comment

Everyone works hard for their money and many people feel that all they do is survive; paying off debt and living costs cutting into their household income often leave people feeling reckless or resentful towards their situations.  Investors often invest their money for a period of time and then splurge on a goal that they have worked towards.

One of the best ways to reward yourself for your hard work is to have a holiday that will leave your friends envious and make memories that would last you for a lifetime.  Although many people have some destinations and experiences on their bucket list, there is a list of 6 holidays that are considered the ultimate experience.

The following holidays range from two years to five hours, yet the experience will last you forever and they all much more exciting than visiting family in another city or going to the beach or the bush for a few weeks just to be away from home, work and daily routine.

Safari – Not just any safari, one where you get to experience the annual migration of zebra and wildebeest across the Serengeti.  The holiday costs £7,000 and lasts 2 weeks.

Space – The experience of being an astronaut is not on everyone’s bucket list, but the views of outer space are believed to be breathtaking.  This will only cost you £127,000 and lasts for 5 hours.

Vegas – There are a lot of people who want to experience the glitz and glamour of Vegas, do it all from dining in the revolving restaurant to winning or losing on blackjack for £5,500 and it only lasts for a week!  A week away that will give you a lifetime experience is surely worth the saving?

Sea Voyage – Experience parts of the world from the sea, New Zealand, Cape Town and more for only £8,000 and 60 days.

Antarctic Beckons – Another trip for the explorer and nature lover.  Experience whales, elephant seals and penguins in their natural habitat for £7,500, this adventure only takes two weeks.

Lifetime Deal – Save like crazy and plan a two year break from friends, family and work!  For £990,000 you can visit more than 150 countries, travel first class on all flights and experience the most famous hotels while you get to see real wonders like the Great Wall of China, Notre Dame Cathedral, Stonehenge and more.

Having a goal to work towards, and saving towards the holiday of a lifetime will give you inspiration to continue.  Remember to take lots of photos and encourage your closest friends to save with you so you can experience it together.
