Americans have been suffering under the spending cuts implemented by the government to lower the countries deficit, except that the propaganda has kept Americans believing that the deficit has not grown smaller.
During a recession it is important for the government to make changes and invest in the country as this promotes the security of the job market and in turn helps to improve the overall economy of the country.
According to the article on Alternet the deficit in America is notably lower than it was in 2009, and the government has placed their focus on the economy and the deficit instead of the employment crisis which is crippling the economy as there is no security for people who are fortunate enough to have a job and the unemployed find it harder to find a job.
Hopefully the new season will reveal the reality of the economic situation and the focus will swing to the greater problem regarding the employment status.
