There are a variety of organizations and governments that are giving money to people in poor communities without any conditions or expectations. Although when people hear about these handouts they are skeptical about the validity of the rumors there are others who are concerned that the money will be wasted on alcohol and drugs.
The poorest of people in areas of Kenya have proven that free money will be used wisely, from the reports that surveys have recorded the people who have received money have used the money to pay for kick starts to their own small businesses or to improve their lives in other ways. It is also evident that people who have received the financial help have a better state of health as they eat healthier than people who haven’t been given money.
The point is that not everyone who receives money with no strings attached will waste the income, for many it is the break they need to turn their lives around.
