Christie’s art auction brought in half a billion dollars with a lot of artists breaking records as the most expensive piece of art sold to date. There were a few pieces that did not find any buyers, but approximately 94% of all the art on auction was sold. This just goes to show that art lovers are still around, and in the new era where technology seems to be taking over there are still people that want classical and contemporary pieces to showcase.
