Spring is a time to clean and make money

Spring brings with it the age old tradition which almost everyone partakes in of spring cleaning.  Usually when you go through your cupboards and draws and find things that you haven’t used, worn or looked for over the past year it is delegated to the garbage heap and taken away to the dump site.  How about making a little extra money to pay off an outstanding debt or spoil your family?  Your unwanted goods could be a bargain deal to someone who is desperate!

There are also companies which offer trade-in deals on technology, so that ‘old’ but functional mobile phone that you found right at the back of your desk drawer can be traded in for a few pounds against your next purchase of the latest mobile phone.

Those clothes that you haven’t worn and know that you not going to wear again can be sold for a few pound to people who are desperate for a new wardrobe but can’t afford the price tags!

Don’t expect to get the price you paid for the items you selling, but with realistic prices which are affordable for your unwanted goods you could quickly accumulate a few pounds together!

For more tips on how to make a profit from your spring cleaning exercises read the article I read on Investopedia
