Need a Loan – Consider alternatives first

Although money is a problem for the majority of society on a global scale, there are alternative options than just walking into your bank and applying for a personal loan.  Normally, when you need a little extra cash the easiest option is to contact your bank and apply for a personal loan, but have you considered the amount of interest you would be paying back on loans of £ 5,000 and less?  Unfortunately as alluring as the banks make their adverts to encourage personal loan applications, the lower the amount you want to loan the harder they hit you in interest and other charges.

So what are the alternatives?  Well, look at Zopa, you can read more about Zopa here, or other alternative lenders as mentioned in the article on Independent.  Before you go off to the bank and apply for a loan, shop around and see where you can get the best interest rates.  If your affordability is not a problem, then obtaining the loan should be simple.
