Now that the summer break period is close a lot of people are looking for holiday destinations which will not break the bank it is important to search the internet for information before randomly choosing your destination.

The most expensive part of being on a holiday is the money spent on drinks, snacks and food.  If you want to save on your spending then the best place to go is Portugal.  The most expensive destination based on spending is Dubai.

Other points which are covered in the article include destinations where the pound goes further or where the hotel fees are cheapest.  When you look for information on hotels and cheaper options make sure that you read reviews on the destinations that interest you to ensure that the pictures you see are what people have experienced.
