Everyone can do with some extra money, unfortunately sitting around hoping that your boss is going to give you free money will get you nowhere.  The good news is that you do not have to keep battling along, there are ways you can make money, and you just have to be willing to do something about it.

Depending on the amount of free time you have, the skills you have and the amount of work you willing to put into generating another stream of income, there is a solution to your money troubles.  Also remember that there will be competition, but if you chose to prove your capabilities with dedication and good work you are sure to succeed.

There are a lot of opportunities available to make money, here are just a few ideas for you, and with a little thought put into the situation, we sure you can come up with many more which you welcome to share with us in the comments below.

Yard Sale – Go through your cupboards and gather all the items you haven’t used in the last six months and then hold a yard sale.  This is a great way to generate an income quickly, but if you looking for a permanent income increase you could offer to hold yard sales for your neighbors and take a portion of the money made as payment for your service.

Surveys – Answer surveys and other questions online for money.

Neighborhood Services – Help people in your neighborhood with tasks like walking dogs, babysitting etc. for a fee.

Tutoring – Teach people a skill that you love or offer to help students with their homework or subjects they need help with.

The important point to remember is that you going to give up your free time to make more money, so you would be better to choose to do things that you enjoy.

You could also ‘buy and sell’ e.g. pick up good items at car boot or yard sales and resell them for more on Ebay or similar. You have to know what you’re looking for though. Also, freelance writing and answering questions on Webanswers are other ways!
