Financial advice for living with a partner

There are many people who choose to have a live-in partner or even two ‘best friends’ who choose to move in together.  In the beginning everything will be great, as best friends you share everything and have a lot of laughs together whilst doing simple things like cooking a meal.

Unfortunately relationships of any kind are volatile, at some point there will be an argument and one or both parties choose to end the relationship and move on in separate directions.  When your living arrangements have to change because of the ending of a relationship it can be an uncomfortable situation, especially if you have no place to go to or you have financial responsibilities which prevent you from being able to cope living alone.

I recently read this article which gives eight great tips on how to secure your own financial stability before you make the decision to move in with a partner, these same tips would apply perfectly for friends as well.

Financial stability is important to everyone, it is even more important when circumstances change and you need to move out of your current residence, rather than live where you are not comfortable, follow the tips provided and give yourself the security you need to be free.
