While we are all battling along to make ends meet and stretch our household income to cover all the basic necessities, cover our debts and still save something on a monthly basis, why not kick caution to the wind and chose to stay broke instead?  In this book excerpt on The Globe and Mail, check out the top ways you can keep the charade going and stay poor.  Although it is not a recommended lifestyle, the article does hit a nerve or two for people who are spontaneous spenders.  Definitely a good read!
